Artist Statment:
Energy, Speed, Velocity, Acceleration, Law of conservation of mass, Law of conservation of energy, E=Mc2 . . .

"In 2002, I graduated from the university with a degree in physics, but just like most of my fellow students in Myanmar, I didn't know what the heck Physics was all about. I did learn some words and phrases though, for instance the definition of "energy" "speed" "velocity" "acceleration" the Law of Conservation of Mass, the Law of Conservation of Energy, E=mc2 and etc. Learning by rote and acting like as if I knew something. In reality, I understood none of it. The certificate handed to me at graduation read "conferred with a Bachelor's Degree in Science."

The link between Abstract Photography and Science for me is like acting like a lab scientist exploring light and colors in objects in my room - different kinds of magnifying glasses and sundries - by using both electric light and natural sunlight. So you can say that I took all these photographs wearing the hat of a Scientist."
